Privacy

The information you provide is confidential. This includes all personal data, notes, reports, appointment information, and the fact that you are a private client.  Information from enquiries will be kept securely for six months.  If you chose to engage in services, your information will be kept securely for seven years before being securely destroyed (unless you request for this to be destroyed earlier).  You may grant permission in writing for your information to be released to a person or agency that you designate.  Your information will be saved in a secure cloud platform and will be password protected. It is recommended that you password protect all documents sent to info@drpricepsychology.co.uk and send the password in a separate email.

 

There are occasions when sharing of your personal information is necessary:

  1. Reducing risk of harm – If there are serious concerns that you or another person are at risk of harm.

  2. Complying with the law – In situations where this information is required by law.

  3. During my clinical supervision as is a term of my practice and continuing professional development (no identifiable personal information will be discussed in this case).

 

Under data protection law, you have the right to change or withdraw your consent at any time.  You can also request details concerning any personal information held about you, and request copies of this information.

This policy complies with UK law accordingly implemented, including that required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
